George Douglas, Co-Founder of DWE Group & Director of Energy Management Services
“I was 19 when I started in the electrical business. After winning ‘trainee of the year’ in my apprenticeship, I qualified and worked in the commercial and industrial sector.
Choosing to move into the energy industry, I became a Responsive Energy Manager and oversaw the South of England for emergency energy related services.
Project managing corporate clients to deliver Carbon Optimised Solutions taught me the skills and passion I have today to help all of DWE Group’s clients on a more sustainable path towards Carbon Net Zero.”

Michael Walton, Co-Founder of DWE Group & Director of Electrical Installation Services
“After completing my apprenticeship with an electrical installation company, I joined a top UK Spa and Leisure facility focusing on a mixture of electrical breakdowns and fixed wire testing.
I gained skills in fixing plant equipment and electrical installations inspection.
In 2021 I worked in contract management for a global Mechanical & Electrical provider. But, I missed the job satisfaction of using tools and physically carrying out the work — leading me to work with DWE Group.”

“I have over 15 years of experience in the electrical industry, where I previously worked for a large electrical DNO and then ventured into being self employed. My specialist area is overseeing and managing large commercial and industrial electrician installation projects.”

“I joined DWE Group straight from school and I’ve already learned so much. My role is to listen and learn from whoever I am working with and to then use that knowledge to produce the high quality work that the rest of the team delivers.”
